Bookmark this! Spring Citywalk guide for Guangzhou's old Xiguan

Guangzhou's tourist citywalk route will definitely include the 'Xiguan' stop. The old Xiguan is the perfect place to stroll, eat and check-in. In the good weather of spring in February and March, experience the slow-paced romance of Xiguan. 🏠Stay: Check into the newly opened Boli BYOU Hotel in Shangxiajiu, which is fully equipped, cost-effective, suitable for students, and very close to the old Xiguan snack shops and scenic spots. The trendy lobby offers a welcome drink upon check-in, and there is a gym and steam room on the fourth floor for everyone to use. 🌷Exhibition: The Guangzhou Culture Park Spring Flower Fair, from now until February 24, exhibits 40 groups of garden scenes combined with lanterns (lantern groups) as well as various boutique seasonal flowers and citrus fruits, while also launching calligraphy and painting exhibitions, cultural performances, and Spring Festival blessings and other cultural activities. The Lantern Festival lights up from February 21-24, and admission is free🆓 🏞️Park: Walk along Yongqingfang to Liwan Park, and feel the life atmosphere of the Lingnan arcade buildings along the way. The beautiful spring scenery of Liwan Lake is right in front of you, close to the yellow wind chimes on Zhongshan 8th Road, which will bloom in early March. Although it's not a large area, it's still enjoyable. The 1200book&bed in Liwan Park is one of my favorite bookstores. The Liwan branch is on the shore of Liwan Lake, with a strong Xiguan style. The biggest feature is that it is a 24-hour bookstore. 🍴Food: 1️⃣Enning Ice Cream: There is a unique chicken biscuit ice cream, 23 yuan a ball! It really tastes like a real chicken biscuit! 2️⃣Original Wood Workshop: This coffee shop is on the edge of Litchi Bay where you can see the lake, listen to the birds, and quietly spend a wonderful afternoon~ 3️⃣Yunteng Claypot Porridge: Authentic street stall style Xiguan Cantonese cuisine, Yunteng chicken wings, seafood claypot porridge are always the must-order dishes. 4️⃣Tao Tao Ju: The main store in Shangxiajiu is a century-old brand, where you can not only buy Xiguan chicken biscuits and wife biscuits, but also have tea all day, and eat shrimp dumplings and siew mai, and scones that I have been eating since I was a child. 5️⃣There are also the beef ball noodles of Ri Yue Nian, the fried sauce Yi noodles of Jian Ji, the beef sausage of Yuan Ji, and the wonton satay noodles of Chao Bao Snacks...
