#Guangzhou Attractions Guangzhou's Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall is a landmark building in modern Guangzhou. It was built by Guangzhou citizens and overseas Chinese to commemorate Mr. Sun Yat-sen. It is located on the "traditional central axis" of Guangzhou. The memorial hall is octagonal in shape, with its roof made entirely of blue glazed tiles. Its architectural style is the same as that of the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum in Nanjing, solemn and dignified. The plaque on the front is inscribed with "The World Belongs to All" by Mr. Sun Yat-sen, and a bronze statue of Sun Yat-sen stands in the center in front of the memorial hall.
