Struck gold next to the Sanxingdui ruins! Stayed at Zhuangsheng Xiaoyue and never wanted to leave~

Made a spontaneous trip to Sanxingdui, just an hour's drive from Chengdu. Chose Zhuangsheng Xiaoyue for its garden scenery, and it turned out even more comfortable than expected! Lush trees🌳 + private courtyard made it wonderfully cool in summer. 🌿 Like stepping into a mini forest: The temperature dropped noticeably as soon as we stepped out of the car! The entire hotel is surrounded by towering trees and bamboo, with white walls and blue-tiled roofs nestled in the shade—serene and peaceful. A long corridor overlooks a pond where koi fish dart under lotus leaves🐟. Occasionally, ladies in Hanfu robes practice calligraphy in the pavilion, while the breeze rustles leaves and gently sways wind chimes... Truly refreshing and relaxing. The staff were lovely—helped with luggage, shared tips to avoid Sanxingdui crowds, and even recommended Guanghan’s old teahouses and shaved ice shops. Cozy, comfortable rooms: Our lake-view room had a small balcony. Opening the window revealed a sea of green🍃, and the smart toilet came with a cooling seat (a summer lifesaver!). Afternoons were spent sipping tea by the lake, and evenings soaking in the private hot spring♨️ in the courtyard—breezy and never stuffy. For the restless, here’s how to enjoy: ✓ Borrow Hanfu for free photos: Easy to snap pretty shots by the trees or water. ✓ Feed the koi with free fish food: Kids (and adults) can linger by the pond for ages. ✓ Practice calligraphy in the shaded pavilion: Quiet, with natural cool breezes. ✓ Join the butler for lakeside Baduanjin exercises at dawn: Breathe in fresh air—pure bliss. Food hit the spot: Breakfast’s *golden thread noodles* were silky and light, perfect for hot weather, while the mildly spicy beef noodles were fragrant. The hotel’s "Xiaoyue" restaurant served great dishes—so good we happily ate in for lunch. Evenings were for the night market, packed with local snacks and seasonal fruits, buzzing with small-town charm. At checkout, we got handmade *snowskin mooncakes*🧁—not too sweet, ideal for the road.
