This ancient temple, built in the 4th year of the Chongzhen reign (Ming dynasty), has nearly 400 years of history and holds deep cultural and spiritual significance 🏡 The temple’s architecture blends the artistic styles of both the Ming and Qing dynasties — intricate roof carvings, exquisite woodwork, and decorative beams showcase the craftsmanship of the ancient builders 🏞️ Inside the Mahavira Hall, a 10-meter-tall stone statue of the Buddha “Tathāgata” stands solemnly, flanked by 18 Arhats in a powerful and dignified formation — a truly awe-inspiring sight. As you stroll through the temple, you’ll also find well-preserved inscriptions, stone carvings, and woodworks from the Ming and Qing periods that seem to whisper stories of the past. Besides Dingguang Temple, Qingyun Mountain is full of natural beauty waiting to be explored.
