Memories of Alhambra

Alhambra is clearly the talk of the town. Not a single recommendation in Granada would start without alhambra. For me iIhad long wanted to visit. Even since a couple of years ago I watch the Korean series "memories of alhambra" with Hyun Bin oppa in it. The idea of visiting the palace someday excited me. This Arabic palace complex happens to be the top tourist destination in the whole of Spain. This means you'd be seeing with thousands of people exploring it's halls and gardens everyday. For me I started the day off with the Arabic neighbourhood of albacin. It was a walking tour and then I headed to the alhambra palace. The first stop was Generalife gardens which sits on the hill above the complex. Then we walked down to the nasrid palaces, which is supposed to be the main part of the complex. The architecture, design and intricate carvings make the Arabic influence evident. There are places inside with courtyards and fountains, there are grand reception hall, ceiling with art.
