Wandering Through the Medieval Charm of Visby

The botanical garden and nearby ruins of St. Karin’s Church added a peaceful contrast to the bustling streets. Everywhere I turned, history was palpable, from the Hanseatic merchant houses to the remnants of Visby’s rich past. The mix of quaint charm, medieval architecture, and scenic surroundings made exploring Visby a delight. It is a town that encourages slow wandering, photo stops, and soaking in the unique atmosphere of Gotland.
