#church Goreme Open-Air Museum is a group of rock churches in the mountains next to the town of Göreme. The original meaning of the word "Goreme" is "what you can't see". It was also the place where ancient Christians stayed to avoid being hunted down. Goreme is not only a United Nations World Cultural Heritage, but also one of the most popular attractions in Cappadocia👍 I originally thought I was going to see all kinds of rare treasures and rocks, but after the actual visit I found that it was a group of churches carved out of rocks. There are about 30 churches of various sizes, with many frescoes of great historical significance. It's great! But you are not allowed to take photos inside the church📷 This open-air museum can be visited even if you are not a Christian. The scenery is beautiful and good for taking photos.
