Back from Northwest China, some sincere advice for those traveling in March...

I just returned from Northwest China. Before my trip, I consulted tons of travel guides and packed a mountain of stuff, much of which I didn't even use! 😅 Here's a summary of some practical tips. Just follow them, ladies! I recommend saving this post! 📝 👜【Must-Pack List】 Documents: ID card, student ID, driver's license Electronics: Data cables, power bank, headphones Skincare: Lip balm, hand cream, lotion, toner, facial mask (Northwest China is extremely dry!) Clothing: Jacket, casual wear, sunglasses, flat shoes Medicine: 999 Ganmaoling, Gaoyuan'an, digestive tablets, erythromycin ointment Other: Scarf, sunglasses, umbrella, sunscreen (The UV rays are super strong!) 👗【Outfit Guide for Northwest China】 ✅ Down jacket: It gets unbelievably cold at night at Qinghai Lake and the salt lakes. A long down jacket is recommended after the end of October. If you're feeling lazy, just wrap it around your legs! ✅ Windbreaker: A must-have for Northwest China! Warmth + windproof + photogenic, all in one! Pair it with sunglasses for an instant boost of atmosphere! ✅ Pants: Comfort is key. Fleece-lined leggings are essential, so you won't be cold even if you wear a skirt! ❌【Things to Note】 👉🏻 Altitude sickness prevention: Upon arrival in Xining, try to rest at the hotel. Avoid showering or washing your hair, as this can trigger altitude sickness. For mild cases, drink some cola. For severe cases, take Gaoyuan'an (no need to take it in advance; it works instantly!). 👉🏻 Toilet situation: Apart from scenic spots and service areas, there are very few toilets along the way, and most of them are squat toilets. Take care of business beforehand! Remember to bring wet wipes, as there's no place to wash your hands in squat toilets. 👉🏻 Oxygen tanks: Personally, I don't think they're very useful.
