OMG! Staying at the Mars Camp is so cool! A must-stay in Qinghai! If you come to Qinghai, you should stay in the Gobi Desert for a night if you have the chance. It's like staying on Mars. Great location Near the "Water Yadan" and on the G315 National Highway, it's a must-see place. It's only a 10-minute drive from Dongtai Jinel Lake. Unique scenery The hotel is built entirely on the original landform of the Gobi Desert, giving you the real feeling of living in the Gobi Desert. The whole hotel is like a Mars camp and an American western movie. It's very cool. Various accommodations The hotel offers 4 types of accommodation to meet different needs. The facilities are complete and better than those in the town. ◆ Dome star room (where we stayed) ◆ Independent loft villa (near the Water Yadan) ◆ Tent (self-built and ready to move in) ◆ RV camp (with BBQ area) Very photogenic The hotel itself is also a great place to take photos, with a high lookout tower. You can watch the sunrise in the morning, the sunset in the evening, and the starry sky at night. Rich food The owner is said to be from Sichuan, so the food is spicy. The buffet breakfast is comparable to a 5-star hotel, and the main courses are varied and reasonably priced. We were very satisfied with both meals. If you want to stay in a hotel with Northwest China characteristics when traveling to Qinghai, this is the one for you!
