Autumn leaves in Hida Takayama

Hida Takayama is located in the northern part of Gifu Prefecture, near Toyama Prefecture. It is famous as a town in the mountains that retains its old streetscape, and is visited by many tourists. Walking around the town, you can feel the history as buildings that were likely built around the Edo, Meiji, and Taisho periods remain.
