The Gassho-style buildings of Shirakawa-go and other places are reproduced here, allowing people to experience the traditional rural life in Japan. Buildings such as the "Old Houses of the Occupants" in the village display the daily necessities and construction techniques of the time, giving people a deeper understanding of life in the past.  In addition to visiting the buildings, there are also pottery experiences and Japanese paper-making workshops in the village, where people can get their hands dirty and experience the fun of traditional crafts.
