Here at Auntie’s Gaik Lean’s Old School Eatery, you can taste authentic Peranakan food and it is a halal restaurant too. I got lucky and managed to make two reservations for June and July to try out all their dishes. I got seated at their secret corner with only 3 tables and away from the main dining hall. I ordered their popular nutmeg punch for a start and continued to order 7 main dishes, Kueh Pie Tee, Lor Bak, Beef rendang, Kerabu sotong, Nasi ulam, Sambal prawn with petai and a pengat for desserts.
