Penang Old Money Hotel

The Eastern & Oriental Hotel in Penang is commonly known as one of the three major heritage hotels in Asia, along with Raffles in Singapore and The Strand in Yangon. Its Victorian-style architecture gives the hotel a strong literary and artistic atmosphere. The hotel is decorated in gorgeous and retro style, and the hotel staff also wear nostalgic costumes. The hotel is divided into the old building, the heritage wing, and the new building, the victory annex. I personally recommend staying in the sea view room in the heritage wing, because only the heritage wing can go to the swimming pool on the first floor. We booked the Premier Suite Twin in the heritage wing.
