🚌 Sunday Market @ Hin Bus Depot

#mymymemories Hin Bus Depot is a creative community hub located at Jalan Gurdwara, Penang. Refurbished from an old bus depot, the building now houses art exhibitions and installations, cafes and restaurants. We attended the Sunday market and the whole place was packed. There were lots of booths, musicians were performing and children were running around and playing. The vibes were certainly 💯, we'll give them that! Although Hin Bus has its charm and potential, it is still pale in comparison to the likes of RexKL and more. Food were extremely overpriced and many items sold were lacking in quality. It made us wonder, do they even vet through the vendors properly when they accepted applications? Honestly, it felt more like tourist trap than a place to celebrate creativity. It was unfortunate.
