A Malay cultural gallery in George Town

Penang Malay Gallery or Galeri Melayu Pulau Pinang is a Malay cultural gallery showcasing the history and culture of the Malays in Penang. Housed at Rumah Teh Bunga(a gorgeous heritage mansion) on Hutton Lane, George Town, Penang. The gallery acknowledges the history of the Malay settlement of Penang Island, and the early Malay arrivals at various parts of the island and learn about the pioneers who established the various Malay villages. Several small galleries showcases the trading activities, religion & traditions, wedding ceremony & customs, jewellery and way of life of Penang Malays.
