Vascello Neptune and Genoa waterfront

#celebratewithtrip Vascello Neptune is a ship replica of a 17th century Spanish galleon designed by Naval Architect David Cannell. The ship was built in 1985 for Roman Polanski's film "Pirates". It was located along Genoa Waterfront and is around 400 meters 5 minutes walk from San Giorgio metro station, and is open daily from 1000-1700. Visitors can pay to climb aboard the ship and walk on its upper and lower decks. A two minutes 200 meters walk from here is Aquarium of Genoa which is the largest aquarium in Italy. Both are popular attractions for kids and families in Genoa

Portofino

☀️🇮🇹 Italian Riviera Dream Trip: Genoa, Santa Margherita, and the Iconic Portofino! 🛥️ Just got back from an unforgettable summer adventure on the stunning Italian Riviera, and I had to share my highlights for your next Trip.com booking! If you love vibrant history, colorful seaside towns, and incredible food, this part of Liguria is a must-see. Our trip balanced the bustling city life of the region's capital with the tranquil, picturesque charm of the coast. The summer weather was perfect for soaking up the sun and the Mediterranean atmosphere! 📍 Genoa: History and Pesto Perfection Genoa, or La Superba, was our starting point and offered a fantastic contrast to the smaller coastal villages. General Vibe: A grand, historic port city with a slightly edgy, authentic feel. The scent of basil and focaccia is everywhere! 📍 Santa Margherita Ligure: The Elegant Base Santa Margherita Ligure quickly became our favorite elegant yet laid-back spot. It’s the ideal base for exploring. General Vibe: More local and less crowded than its famous neighbor, with beautiful Liberty style (Art Nouveau) hotels and an elegant palm-lined promenade. 📍 Portofino: The Iconic Jewel The star of the show! Portofino lives up to its glamorous reputation with its iconic crescent harbor. General Vibe: Chic, vibrant, and a playground for the international set. It’s small, but every corner is a postcard.
