[Pyrenees] Enjoy the great outdoors by hiking in the Gavarnie Valley!

Hiking in the Pyrenees, which is on the border between France and Spain 🥾! We set out early in the morning with sandwiches and drinks. Surrounded by 3,000m-class mountains, this place is the Cirque de Gavarnie, a designated World Heritage Site. We stayed in the town of Lourdes, so we took a bus to the village of Gavarnie 🚌 The Cirque de Gavarnie was created by a glacier more than 20,000 years ago, and it is truly a spectacular sight...! It is beautiful to see it from afar, as in the first photo, but it is also beautiful to get closer and closer as you hike...! We had lunch on the way, took a short nap, and then set off again 🫶🏽 When we got close to the waterfall, there was snow piled up at our feet ☃️ The guide said that the sand was blown in from the Sahara Desert (!). There is snow, but it's cold enough that short sleeves are fine◎ You can take the same route back and forth, but you can also choose a harder route🥾 In that case, we recommend ankle-high hiking boots, as you will be passing through slippery areas. 🎒Recommended things to bring ・Backpack (keep both hands free!) ・Hat ・Drinks (as many as possible!
