Dequan Enclosure in Hekou Village, Longnan, Jiangxi

Built by the ancestor Ye Yongwu during the Qing Dynasty, Dequan Enclosure is a two-story, enclosed, square building made of stone and wood. It covers an area of over 2,800 square meters. Its base wall is nearly 3 meters high and 2 feet thick. The main gate faces west, and there are two turrets on each side. In the center of the enclosure is a two-story ancestral hall made of earth and wood called "Zongliang Ancestral Hall," originally built during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty and renovated in 2020. More than 60 two-story earthen houses were once built within the enclosure, connected by a second-floor veranda, but now they are mostly ruined, with only one gate tower remaining. The open space and corridors are paved with river pebbles. It is listed as an immovable cultural relic of Longnan County.
