CALAMARI

Calamar means 'squid' in Italian, and is a cafe brand based on the concept of squid hands, a specialty of Gangneung. We ordered the signature squid peanut latte and cafe latte, which were delicious and cute because they had a real squid peanut as a topping. The modern interior has a high ceiling, good lighting, and many 'squid belly windows', so it's great for viewing the ocean! The bamboo decorations and hanging rattan lights on the ceiling were really sentimental. When you go up to the rooftop, you can see the ocean and the pine forest at a glance, and there are squid belly lights, rattan wicker tables and chairs, and bean bags, so it would be nice to drink coffee there when it gets warm.
