'I know from afar it's not snow, for there comes a hidden fragrance.' This is Linyang Temple, a thousand-year-old temple in the northern part of Fuzhou, where about 500 plum trees are planted. Every year before the Spring Festival, the plum blossoms of Linyang Temple come into full bloom, and the temple also welcomes the most beautiful and popular time of the year. The blooming plum blossoms and the white walls and red tiles of the ancient temple complement each other. Among them, the most famous are the two ancient plum trees in the plum garden, which are said to be nearly 300 years old.
