Winter is definitely the time to come ski at Changbai Mountain! ⛷️ Avoid the crowds in early December, enjoy great snow and fewer people for an amazing experience～ This time staying at the Wanda Momoland Hotel was simply fantastic, skiing + hot springs + water park all included, one-stop fun all the way!
🏨 Accommodation Tips
Highly recommend the Changbai Mountain Wanda Momoland Hotel (Address: No. 87 Baiyun Road, Changbai Mountain International Tourism Resort, Songjianghe Town). Manager Xia and Manager Wang provided truly excellent service, very thoughtful from check-in to activity arrangements! The rooms are clean and tidy, breakfast is plentiful, and although some facilities are a bit dated, they are well maintained. Special praise for the hotel’s activity guide, which made everything clear even for a skiing beginner like me～
🎿 Skiing Experience
The ski slopes at Wanda International Resort (Fusong County, Baishan City, Jilin Province) are very professional. Beginners are advised to start on the beginner slopes. The coach said the snow quality in December is the best, and falling doesn’t hurt! It’s best to get to the ski area early when there are the fewest people for the best photos～ Don’t forget to bring protective gear.
♨️ Warm Tips
1. Be sure to visit the hot springs included with the hotel! Especially after skiing, soaking in the hot springs instantly relieves fatigue.
2. The water park is perfect for kids, with a heated indoor area so no worries about the cold.
3. Early December really means no lines, all activities are available on demand.
4. Remember to bring a waterproof phone case, essential for capturing snowy scenes!
