The Fukuoka City Museum was also the venue for the Kyushu-Okinawa Summit Finance Ministers' Meeting. In the large grounds, art works are on display both outside and inside the building. The museum handles everything from local Fukuoka materials to valuable exhibits. When we visited, November 3rd was Culture Day, so we were able to use some of the facilities for free. On the second floor, there was a Hakata doll of "Sazae-san" on display!
