My Stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Fukuoka: A Michelin-Key Experience! 🏨✨

#summervacay I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Ritz-Carlton, Fukuoka, a hotel boasting a Michelin key – quite impressive! The room was incredibly comfortable, reminding me a bit of the Banyan Tree in Kyoto with its serene ambiance. The night view was absolutely stunning (as seen in image 6). The hotel's location is superb, with plenty of shops nearby and very close proximity to Tenjin Station, making getting around incredibly convenient. The service was generally solid, though I found it to be just "middle-of-the-road." Breakfast costs extra; I tried it and felt the quality was slightly better than in-room dining, but the value wasn't exceptional. I stayed during the off-peak season and wasn't upgraded to a suite (I've learned that in Japan, asking for upgrades usually doesn't work, so I don't even try). The welcome fruit was just two oranges, which felt a bit simple, accompanied by two small pies. However, upon checkout, the front desk proactively mentioned the suite upgrade, apologizing that they couldn't accommodate it due to a nearby event leading to high occupancy.
