Gourmet Experiences in Fukuoka

I'll share my gastronomic experience in Fukuoka! There are many beef motsunabe restaurants in Fukuoka, but this time I enjoyed its deliciousness at the original place. I had beef motsunabe in Shanghai before and it didn't leave much of an impression, but the one I had in Fukuoka was just superb. In Japan, the oil and salt content is kept to a minimum, so perhaps the original charm of beef motsunabe is lost. The feeling of happiness wrapped in oil and fat is really appealing. The set also included horse sashimi and mentaiko, and although the mentaiko was a little thick, the horse sashimi was fresh and delicious. Next, I went to Itoshima Kaisendo for a regular sashimi set meal. At 2800 yen, it's a bit expensive for Fukuoka, but it's worth it because you can enjoy the sea view. The sashimi is fresh and even more delicious when eaten with vinegared rice. And the meal at Menya Kanetora was a series of surprises. I especially recommend adding plenty of garlic. When you dip the cold noodles into the hot soup, they are warm and sticky, and chewy when you bite into them. The spiciness is just right, so if you like spicy food, you might want to try the super spicy version. Finally, if you enjoy the soup with fish soup, the rich flavor spreads even more. I also tried Shinshin ramen. I was a little worried after reading some reviews beforehand, but it was actually delicious. The thin noodles were very elastic, and the soup was just the right amount of salt, and it tasted better than Ichiran. Ichiran ramen (only available in Dazaifu) was a little disappointing compared to what I had eaten in other places. The soup was too salty, the noodles were too soft, and the floating oil was not fragrant enough. There are many shops selling Umeeda mochi in Dazaifu lined up in the pedestrianized street, and they all taste the same, with a strong sweetness, but you can easily enjoy warm mochi. Finally, I visited the chicken dishes in the underground gourmet street opposite Parco and the ramen battleground on the second floor of Hakata Station. Every shop was crowded and the taste seemed promising. #FukuokaGourmet #FukuokaTrip #JapaneseCuisine
