Indispensable Desserts

When you're abroad, the obvious thing to do is to keep eating. After dinner, if you're still craving more but can't handle anything salty, it's time to rely on your 'second stomach' for dessert. Wandering aimlessly, we stumbled upon Campbell Early. The name seemed familiar, probably saw it on a friend's Instagram! Without checking Instagram again, we decided to just walk in, because when it comes to Japanese fruit desserts, you can hardly go wrong. Of course, we left the place fully satisfied. We ordered two cups to share the joy. The mixed fruit cup was our choice, with pineapple, orange, and also strawberries, mango, blueberries, and more, very rich in variety. Japanese fruits are not necessarily sweet, but combined with red sorbet and yogurt ice cream, it's refreshing and delightful. Even if you're full from dinner, you can easily finish the whole cup. For the other cup, we originally wanted a strawberry parfait, but since the mixed cup already had strawberries, after some discussion, we decided to go for a melon parfait instead. No need to mention how delicious the ice cream was, and the melon from Shizuoka was truly sweet to the core, absolutely unbeatable. Juicy and sweet fruits, of course, are best accompanied by a cup of black coffee, a perfect match!
