Mount Fuji is a volcano

Volcanic by-products are very diverse. Recently, an island called "Nishinoshima" was formed by undersea volcanic activity. I've already forgotten how wind holes are formed... Maybe trees burn in the lava, releasing gas, which accumulates in the lava and creates a cavity, which then collapses over a long period of time? It's not like a limestone cave, so it's probably not something that rainwater or groundwater created the hole... Anyway, wind holes are cooler than limestone caves! Even in summer, there is snow or ice, and the temperature inside the cave is apparently in the single digits. So you can't stay long in summer clothes lol And I was worried that my camera would break from condensation due to the temperature difference. Apparently, in the past, this cold was used for sericulture. It's the opposite of today's greenhouse cultivation. I often hear that limestone caves were used to store "ice" in the days before refrigerators. Nowadays, it is used for low-temperature aging of wine, sake, and alcohol.
