Fremantle tour in Perth

#fremantle I visited Fremantle, a small town in the western part of Perth. I had heard a lot about this place, especially its famous prison, so I took a one-hour bus trip to Fremantle. My first stop was the Fremantle Market, where I found a variety of goods including vegetables, food, souvenirs, and cookies. I bought a plate of fruit for my first meal since I rarely get to eat fruit at my host family's house. Next, I visited the Round House, an old prison where the police used to detain criminals. From the top of the Round House, you can see a panoramic view of Fremantle and the beautiful beach beyond. The weather was so perfect that every picture I took looked like a postcard. Following the path from the Round House, I saw many sailboats in the harbor and people fishing, which looked very relaxing. After a long walk, I had a classic Fish & Chips for lunch. It was a big meal, and the fish tasted much better than the same dish I’ve had in Taiwan. To help digest my food, I walked around the streets and visited the Marine Shipwreck Museum. The museum houses many historical artifacts recovered from shipwrecks. The most captivating items for me were the old silver coins, which were incredibly gorgeous and shiny as if they were newly minted. Feeling a bit tired, I decided to head to the Fremantle Station to catch the bus back. What a wonderful day!
