Taocun, also known as Taoyuan, is located in the eastern part of Beijiao Town, with a total area of ​​2 square kilometers. It has three villagers' groups under its jurisdiction, namely Taocun, Hengan and Greenway. Taocun has a long history of about 800 years. It now preserves a large group of ancient ancestral halls, including the Baogong Temple (a provincial historical and cultural relic protection unit), the Li Family Guangze Hall, the Sanshi Temple and a series of other ancestral halls, as well as the renovated Taocun Guanyin Temple. There are also many ancient ancestral halls in the village, such as the Cao Family Ancestral Hall, the Li Family Ancestral Hall, and the Yuan Family Ancestral Hall. When you step into the entrance road of Beijiao Tao Village, the first thing that catches your eye is the "Hometown of Taoyuan" archway. Ancient banyan trees are intertwined on both sides of the archway, and an ancient and fresh atmosphere blows in your face. Today, Beijiao takes the opportunity of creating a distinctive beautiful village and plans to build a modern international Lingnan cultural village in the core circle of the Guangzhou-Foshan metropolitan area with Taocun as the core.
