St. John's Baptistery Battistero of San Giovanni

#OverseasTravel One of the oldest churches in the city of Florence, built in the 11th century next to the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, it was once a pagan temple, later converted into a church, and later became the baptistery of the Cathedral of Flowers. The building is an octagonal baptistery in the Florentine Romanesque style, with a simpler exterior design, only using white and green marble to create geometric figures. #2023 Travel Wishes Hope to fly to Seoul to see Korea’s first Catholic church—Yaudong.

Amazing building. Italy’s cathedrals never cease to impress me. Every time I go near it I am in awe of its beauty. I would recommend to buy a ticket to climb the tower. With the tower, you’ll still get the view of the Duomo, but perhaps without the day long queues. The morning time is much easier in terms of crowds than evening times. Even at midnight the crowd never stops. Definitely go here when you get the chance!#境外遊 #awesomepic

Piazza della Signoria

Piazza della Signoria is a w-shaped square in front of the Palazzo Vecchio in Florence, Italy. It was named after the Palazzo della Signoria, also called Palazzo Vecchio. It is the main point of the origin and history of the Florentine Republic and still maintains its reputation as the political focus of the city. It is the meeting place of Florentines as well as the numerous tourists, located near Palazzo Vecchio and Piazza del Duomo and gateway to Uffizi Gallery.#境外遊 #awesomepic #givethanks

Museo Pinocchio e Dante

The main attraction, as you’ve probably learned, is Michelangelo’s Statue of David, one of the most famous sculptures in the world and much more impressive and inspiring in person than any photo can portray. Aside from David, there is a nice collection of other unfinished Michelangelo sculptures and a nice collection of paintings from the renaissance era. In my opinion, the optional and small musical instrument exhibit, though nice if you have ample time, is not really necessary and can be skipped. The size of the museum overall is perfect and not in any way overwhelming - we did it comfortably in about 2 hours and that was being slow. Highly recommend when in Florence!#境外遊 #awesomepic #urbanexplorer
