Day 3 in Florence – The majesty of the Duomo and the thrill of Pisa, a day filled with art.

#JulyTravelSupport This morning, I revisited the Florence Duomo. Yesterday, I only saw the exterior and turned back, but today, I decided to climb Brunelleschi's cupola. Climbing the 463 steps left me breathless, but as soon as I reached the top, the panoramic view of Florence's red rooftops unfolded before my eyes, a truly breathtaking experience. The Last Judgment fresco on the cupola's ceiling was right up close, a truly breathtaking sight. Around lunchtime, I took a train to Pisa. The Leaning Tower of Pisa leaned even more than I'd expected. Seeing it before my eyes, something I'd only seen in pictures, strangely made the experience seem unreal. Not only the Leaning Tower, but also the Piazza del Miraco, where the Duomo and the Baptistery are located, was beautiful. Climbing the tower, I took in the panoramic view of Pisa, then strolled through the quiet alleys and enjoyed a gelato. It was a day filled with art and emotion, traveling between two cities in one day. My body was a little tired, but my heart was full.
