I met two kittens in a thousand-year-old castle in Florence

Last month, I traveled to Italy and was very lucky to book a room at Hotel Torre di Bellosguardo. My friend told me that it was built by a noble poet who was a friend of Dante, and later occupied by the Medici family as their hunting lodge. I thought: Is this a lodge?
