【Switzerland】Jungfrau Railway: Over 100 Years of History of Cog Railway

This time we set out from Grindelwald, first taking the Eiger Express aerial cable car, and then transferring to the Jungfrau Railway 🚂 to the Jungfraujoch. After taking the cable car to the Eigergletscher station, we changed to the Jungfrau Railway. The railway has been running since 1896 and runs to the highest railway station in Europe (3,454 meters above sea level). The train runs on a steep rack track and passes through a 7-kilometer-long tunnel. On the way through the tunnel, visitors can stop at the special viewing windows to admire the magnificent glacier world outside, as if they were in the kingdom of ice and snow☃️.
