The beauty of the Hundred Mile Sky Road refreshed my perception, a route secretly kept by photographers

On June 24, 2024, the weather was so good that the Hundred Mile Sky Road didn't need any filters. I always feel that photos can't capture the beauty my eyes see~ . This is the third year that Yilan has come to the Hundred Mile Sky Road. After the rain, the weather is clear, with large cartoon clouds, lush rolling distant mountains and grasslands, countless wind turbines, and the Hundred Mile Sky Road still looks as beautiful as ever in my heart. The scenic area has been upgraded and renovated this year, with more routes to explore. After entering the gate, we kept stopping to take photos, and one memory card was simply not enough. Everywhere is a beautiful scene that can't be captured enough~ . Scenic Area Introduction: The Hundred Mile Sky Road Scenic Area is located in Datun Town, Fengning, Hebei, with a total length of more than 100 kilometers. The scenic area includes peaks, forests, grasslands, wetlands, and farmland, making it the largest and longest self-driving destination in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. The main entrance of the Hundred Mile Sky Road is the south entrance, and there are four other exits. Besides returning to the south entrance, there is Exit 1 near Huanghuading, Exit 2 near Haohanpo, and the north exit towards Saihanba. You can choose based on your time and subsequent itinerary. . It's unrealistic to complete the entire Hundred Mile Sky Road in one go. This time, Yilan unlocked a new route, which is beautiful, less crowded, and has many unique features. Highly recommended for friends who plan to visit. It's suggested to arrive in the afternoon, enter the Hundred Mile Sky Road from the south entrance by car, follow the signs all the way up, and after reaching the Tiandi T-Stage, turn left from here. Follow the mountain road down for a few minutes to reach Juxiantai. This is a huge circular viewing platform built on the grassland. You can walk up along the long wooden plank road, and there are few tourists. We didn't encounter anyone else during the whole journey. Juxiantai offers a 360-degree panoramic view of the magnificent mountain scenery, and drone aerial photography is absolutely stunning! . After leaving Juxiantai, continue down past the Chaping exit, turn right and go up the mountain to return to Huanghuading on the Hundred Mile Sky Road. Continue towards Liuyunling, and this section truly feels like walking on the Sky Road, heading towards the clouds, with wind turbines spinning above. Finally, we reached Fengchebanhua, with patches of colorful birch forests on the grassland, rows of wind turbines on the mountain top, leisurely cattle strolling on the grass, and the surrounding mountains overlapping. The scene is so beautiful! We stayed here to wait for the sunset and were fortunate to witness a magnificent sunset, so excited that we didn't know how to describe the beauty of nature. . As night fell, we returned to Huanghuading and then turned towards Qiansongba, bypassing the forest to exit the scenic area from the south gate. There were no other cars along the way, making it feel like an exciting jungle adventure~ . Tips: 1. The mountain road has many turns and steep slopes, requiring rich driving experience. 2. The wind is strong and the temperature is low on the mountain, especially when watching the sunset. Be sure to prepare enough warm clothes. A down jacket is not too much after dark. 3. There are no shops on the mountain, so prepare food and water in advance. 4. There are few restrooms. Besides the south entrance, there are restrooms at Baihuapo, Tiandi T-Stage, and Liuyunling. .
