Fenghuang Ancient Town (Phoenix Town) is a peaceful town just outside of Zhangjiajie. It can be done within a day if you use the local bus instead of taking a tour. We took a bus from the Zhangjiajie central bus station. Costs 80 RMB per trip and takes around 4h15min to get there. The journey back by bus was quicker, around 3h45min. They have loads of spots to buy snacks and water, and a few Chinese restaurants within the town. Fenghuang the ancient city ๐ Nice places to take a rest & do the activities. Wake up early in the morning to see the sunrise you can capture a very nice photo in this timing. Back to take breakfast and reading some book for recommendation booking the hotel beside the river then you can enjoy the chilling moments. Lately in the afternoon take a sightseeing with historical places. Take a local dinner and continue the nightlife time ๐ #fenghuang #ancientcity #hunan #china #wintergetaway #wintergetaway
