Revisiting Fenghuang just to see the thousands of lights along the Tuojiang River again~~

🚝 I visited Fenghuang Ancient Town many years ago, and this time I went to Chadong in Western Hunan. The two places are only one high-speed rail stop apart, so I decisively revisited to see the dazzling night view once more🌌! 📍 Fenghuang is one of the four major ancient towns in Western Hunan and has nurtured famous figures like Shen Congwen and Huang Yongyu🎨. Nanhua Bridge is an excellent spot to overlook the night view🌉. Arriving at the bridge at dusk to quietly wait for the lights to turn on is a full-on ceremonial experience💫! At 7:30, thousands of lights bloom along both banks of the Tuojiang River, dreamy and magical～ 📍 Hongqiao to Wanming Pagoda is also a great spot for night photography📸. The reflection of the ancient pagoda, stilted buildings, and black-awning boats🛶 create a very picturesque scene! Further downstream, there are fewer tourists and beautiful scenery, quiet and healing～ 👣 Each bridge over the Tuojiang River has its own characteristics: among the four bridges designed by Huang Yongyu representing "Wind, Rain, Snow, and Fog," the Snow Bridge is the most famous❄️; there’s also the 600-year-old Hongqiao Bridge, the rustic wooden plank bridge, and the Crescent Moon Bridge🌙… connecting stilted buildings, ancient streets, and mountains and waters. By day, it looks like an ink painting🖼, and by night, like a galaxy of stars🌠～ Some say Fenghuang is too commercialized, but its beauty has never faded💚. Walking along the Tuojiang River at six or seven in the morning is as peaceful as a paradise🏞; late at night after the crowds leave, a slow stroll has its own charm～ It’s not that Fenghuang has changed, but that it switches effortlessly between commercialization and authenticity! --- ‼️𝐓𝐈𝐏𝐒: 1️⃣ High-speed rail🚄: Fenghuang Ancient Town Station is about 10 kilometers from the ancient town. You can choose the maglev sightseeing train, shuttle bus, or taxi. If your guesthouse offers pick-up, that’s the most convenient～ 2️⃣ Tickets🎫: The ancient town is free, but some attractions require tickets. 3️⃣ Accommodation🏨: Staying near Hongqiao Bridge is super convenient for getting around～ 4️⃣ Night view is a must-see🌃, it’s recommended to stay at least one night! With enough time, three days is even more enjoyable～
