The entire land was enveloped in snow, the air so clear it seemed to freeze away all worries. Countless moving moments were etched into the snowscapes and sunsets along the Morigele River and at the Qiyagu Reindeer Tribe. 🌟 Trip Highlights The entire route focuses on the winter natural scenery of the Hulunbuir Grassland. From snow-covered forests and golden clouds at sunrise to the irresistible photo opportunity at the reindeer tribe, every traveler can create unique memories. If you yearn for escape from the crowds and simply seek peace in nature, this is definitely worth a visit. 🔍 Recommended Attractions **Morigele River Scenic Area** Address: Chenbalhu, Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region One of the most vibrant rivers in Hulunbuir. Every winter, the riverbed is covered in ice and snow, and the forests on both banks become picturesque silhouettes at sunset. It's recommended to arrive before 8 or 9 am, as the sunrise over the clouds and snow creates stunning lighting, making it the best time for photography. **Qiyagu Reindeer Tribe** Highly recommended for travelers who love animals and nature. Here, you can not only see reindeer but also experience the traditional customs of the reindeer tribe, such as feeding the reindeer and chatting with tribe members, feeling the warmth of a northern family. The reindeer in the snow against the backdrop of the primeval forest are excellent elements for travel photography. There are fewer tourists in winter, allowing for more interactive activities. **Snow Scene Photography** The snow in Chenbalhu Banner is incredibly deep due to the low temperatures, with every tiny branch adorned with ice crystals, making it particularly suitable for autumn and winter nature photography. I recommend bringing plenty of warm clothing (down jacket, ski gloves, snow boots are essential), and some energy snacks. Most roads are accessible by car in winter, but it's advisable to book a rental car in advance. Drive carefully and slowly on snowy roads. Food Recommendations: Around the scenic area, you can enjoy authentic northern delicacies like Ivan milk tea and roasted lamb skewers, especially comforting in the cold. In Chenbalhu Banner town, I recommend "Grassland Family" restaurant (Hadatu Town, Chenbalhu Banner, Hulunbuir City), which specializes in milk tea and whole roasted lamb—affordable and incredibly authentic. Transportation Guide: From various locations, you can fly to Hailar Airport to reach Hulunbuir, then hire a car to Chenbalhu Banner (approximately one hour). Vehicles for the scenic area journey need to be booked in advance. Winters are extremely cold, with temperatures dropping to -30°C in the mornings and evenings.
