The most beautiful scar on earth! The billion-year-old secret place of Yunlong Ground Fissure in Enshi

📍Address of the scenic spot: Yunlong Ground Crack is located at the foot of Enshi Grand Canyon in Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Hubei Province. It is 3.6 kilometers long, with an average depth of 75 meters and an average width of 15 meters. It is one of the two core scenic spots of Enshi Grand Canyon (the other is Qixingzhai). The fissure has a U-shaped cross-section, and the rock walls on both sides belong to the Permian (250-290 million years ago) and Triassic (210-230 million years ago) strata, spanning hundreds of millions of years. The concentration of negative oxygen ions in the ground fissures is extremely high, and the average temperature in summer is only 21°C, making it a natural summer resort. The vegetation coverage rate reaches 98%, and rare plants such as yew and Davidia involucrata can be seen.
