El Nido | Dive into the entrance of paradise, a blue wonderland on the sea

📍 Location El Nido is located in the north of Palawan Island in the Philippines. ⸻ ✈️ Transportation • airplane: It takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes to fly from Manila to Lio Airport, which is about 15 to 20 minutes away from the town. You can also fly to Puerto Princesa in Palawan and then take a 5-6 hour drive to El Nido. • Boat trip: Sometimes there is a fast boat option from Coron to El Nido which takes about 3.5 hours. ⸻ 📝 Personal experience When you come to El Nido, you will really feel that "this is what an island vacation is." I took the most popular "Tour A", taking a boat to travel between various limestone islands. Every stop was a dream: hidden lagoons, natural sea caves, coral snorkeling spots, and white sandy beaches where you can watch schools of fish swimming in the transparent shallow sea. The sea here is not just any blue, it’s the kind of “glowing blue” with such gradients that it’s hard to describe, making you never feel like your phone is enough for taking photos. Sitting on the crab boat and looking at the island in the distance, with the wind blowing gently, you will understand why this place is often said to be "one of the most beautiful islands in the world." The town is very chill at night. There are several bars and restaurants on the beach. Drinking beer in the sea breeze has a magical atmosphere of freedom and relaxation. I sincerely recommend staying for at least 3 to 4 days to give yourself time to slowly relax, snorkel, and bask in the sun.
