Calton Hill is located in the east of Edinburgh and is the highest point in the city. Although the hill is not high, you can overlook the panoramic view of Edinburgh and the blue Atlantic Ocean after reaching the top. The scenery is magnificent. There are many historical buildings on the hill, such as the unfinished National Monument and the Nelson Monument. Each has its unique historical significance.
