Dreamy One-Night Escape at Larnach Castle 🏰✨

#mytraveldiary We had such a magical one-night stay at Larnach Castle, Dunedin! After our check-in at the Larnach Castle Accommodation (145 Camp Road, Dunedin, New Zealand), we headed out to explore the castle—even though the weather was a bit foggy, we still managed to find our way and able to visit the museum before closing, though I'm not sure what time it closes 🤔. Honestly, the architecture is straight-up stunning and beautifully preserved. Every corner gives major nostalgic and charming vibes. Our room was spacious and clean, with a unique Larnach Castle keychain. The bathroom kept things traditional with its old-school flush, a quirky touch we loved with vintage feels. The highlight? Dinner at the Castle! A mouthwatering meal that totally impressed us—and you know it’s real when you get to chat with fellow travelers from all over the world across the big dining table. Don't forget to make your dining reservation before 5 pm to secure your spot! 🍴 Breakfast the next morning was absolutely delicious and surpassed all our expectations. The service was top-tier and really made us feel special. If you’re planning a trip, heads up—the castle’s gardens are famous for their beauty! We were low-key sad 🙁 we couldn’t spend more time wandering the grounds because of our tight schedule (open daily, usually 8:30am–5pm for the gardens and castle). Next time for sure! All in all, our stay and dining experience at Larnach Castle was exceptional.
