The birthplace of Taoism!

Mount Qingcheng, located in Dujiangyan City, Sichuan Province, is the birthplace of Taoism, as well as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage Site. Its tranquil natural scenery and rich cultural heritage attract countless tourists. It is divided into the front and back mountains. The front mountain has many temples, while the back mountain boasts beautiful natural scenery. Admission is free for seniors over 60. Visit the front mountain first and take the sightseeing bus (35 yuan per person) directly to the scenic area. Then visit the back mountain, which is farther away and has many winding roads up the mountain. The journey takes about 30 minutes by taxi or minibus. Transportation is now convenient. To get to Mount Qingcheng, take subway lines 2 or 6 to Xipu Station and transfer to the intercity high-speed train to Qingchengshan Station (10 yuan/30 minutes). Remember to book round-trip tickets in advance on Trip.com or 12306. Please note: those with limited mobility should not attempt the climb!
