Dubrovnik City Walls

Visiting the Dubrovnik City Walls is truly a breathtaking experience. These ancient fortifications, which date back to the 10th century and were strengthened in the 14th and 15th centuries, offer an incredible view of the Adriatic Sea and the red-roofed buildings of the Old Town. Walking the full circuit of the walls takes about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your pace and how often you stop to take photos. The path is well-maintained but includes a lot of steps, so comfortable shoes are highly recommended. There are several entry points, but the main one near Pile Gate is the most popular.
