🌿🦌 Phoenix Park, Dublin

Phoenix Park isn’t just a green space, it’s a quiet kind vast. The kind of place where the city noise slips away without you noticing. We arrived in the late afternoon, sun sitting low, golden light catching on leaves that danced a little in the breeze. ☀️🍃 There were deer 🦌 real ones, not behind fences. Just standing there, antlers rising above the tall grass like they belonged to another time. People stopped, hushed. No one reached for their phones right away. It felt too sacred for that 🌾 We found a spot under a wide old tree, spread out a jacket like it was a blanket, and lay back. A cyclist passed by ringing their bell, someone nearby was laughing, and the air smelled like warm grass and summer dust. 🌳🚲 I remember watching the clouds ⛅️ move slowly across the sky. I didn’t think about the time, or what came next. I just let the stillness in. It wasn’t silence, not exactly. It was presence. A kind of peace you only feel when you stop trying to feel anything at all 💚 We stayed until the light began to change. The sky got a little deeper, the shadows stretched longer.
