Understand the historical origins of Palestine

🕙In February 2022, I went to the Palestine Pavilion at the Dubai World Expo. 🌟First of all, I was attracted by its unique exterior design, with the words 'Welcome to Palestine' written in more than 10 languages, including Chinese, engraved on the outer wall. Then, following the narrator into the pavilion, it uses a variety of means, including visual, auditory, tactile, and olfactory, to display the local unique customs and traditional culture. Walking through the narrow path of the exhibition hall, the pictures placed on both sides make people feel as if they are walking in the bustling market, exploring various religious buildings there. 👍The exhibition hall uses light and shadow elements to display traditional Palestinian food one by one in front of the visitors' plates. The exhibition ends with paintings on the theme of Palestinian life, without war, a peaceful scene that makes people yearn to go to Palestine. 📝Through the narrator, I learned some about the historical origins of Palestine. The earliest inhabitants of Palestine were the Canaanites. In 1025 BC, the Hebrews established the Hebrew Kingdom in Palestine. The Hebrews are today's Jews. The name Palestine was imposed on the Jews by the Romans in 135 AD. At that time, Roman Emperor Hadrian cursed the Jews and named it after Israel's enemy Philistine to weaken the influence of the Jews. The current Israeli-Palestinian conflict has no bottom line, no conscience, only violence for violence, one is more ruthless and extreme than the other. Understanding history allows us to make more rational judgments about facts.
