Beautiful city 🗺️

#traveldiaries I recently visited Draguignan, a charming town in the Provence region of France, and it was the perfect mix of history and relaxation! 🏞️ The town itself is beautiful, with narrow streets, old stone buildings, and cozy little cafes. One of the highlights was visiting the Rhone American Cemetery, a peaceful and moving tribute to World War II soldiers. Entrance to the cemetery is free, and it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re into history. The main square, Place du Marché, was full of life with local markets selling fresh produce, cheese, and crafts. Draguignan is also close to the Gorges du Verdon, a stunning natural canyon where you can hike or kayak. The weather was perfect for strolling around town, and I enjoyed a leisurely lunch at a local bistro.
