Glimpse of Guangdong's Diverse Weather It's my first time in Dongguan, staying at the Dongguan Welcome Hotel. The hotel is conveniently located, only a 1 hour and 15 minutes' drive from Guangzhou, with convenient transportation. The surrounding environment of the hotel is beautiful, adjacent to the Dongguan Botanical Garden, with fresh air and a peaceful atmosphere. The hotel was renovated in 2022, with an overall style that emphasizes 'grandeur', and it was my first encounter with a bathroom divided into three separate areas in a room. The hotel also incorporates elements of dragon boat culture into its sophisticated design. From the moment you get off the car and the door is opened, to the check-in process, and then to being escorted upstairs, there are dedicated staff to guide you, providing a convenient check-in experience for travelers. The hotel has a lakeside western restaurant that offers a buffet breakfast with a view of the lake, allowing guests to enjoy delicious food while also appreciating the beautiful lake scenery.
