A journey through Doha 🇶🇦

Doha is like the little sister of Dubai that always gets overlooked or just thought as a “layover destination”. There is more to Doha that meets the eye. The city has a bustling coffee scene and entertainment for everyone. I recommend Earth Cafe, very aesthetic and very popular with the locals. The line is long but goes quickly. The food and atmosphere are worth the wait. You can visit many things like : -Doha Corniche, perfect for a evening stroll near the harbour - Place Vendome, good for window shopping, try milk bun burgers here, you won’t regret it. Also can see the magnificent fountain show. -Katata village, learn about Qatari history -Souq Waqif, have fun exploring the shops and try to haggle with the sellers. Perfect to get your souvenirs - Mshereib downtown, perfect for evening stroll, this were the locals hangout as there is plenty of cafes around - National museum of Qatar, stunning architectural project -Villagio mall, can see the replica of Venice and ride a gondola through the mall -Raffles Doha, you will feel like a princess here and the afternoon tea is delightful. - Qalamkarri, lovely Indian food restaurant with a view of the city below. Spectacular for a fancy meal or date night. #adventuremoments

Souq Waqif: Doha’s Shopper’s Paradise Unveiled 🛍️✨ Ready for a retail therapy adventure? Souq Waqif in Doha isn’t just a market—it’s a dazzling maze of tradition, vibrant color, and irresistible bargains. Expect handwoven textiles, spice-laden alleys, and gold-draped storefronts, all wrapped in a centuries-old charm that’s perfect for a shopping spree! 🗺️ Itinerary & Must-Dos: Start at the main entrance and wander through the bustling labyrinth—don’t miss the falcon souq and handicraft stalls for a true local twist. Let your senses guide you through fragrant spice corners, glittering jewelry sections, and quirky souvenir shops. If you’re up for a caffeine fix, park yourself in a majlis-style café for creamy karak tea and prime people-watching. 📸 Insta-Worthy Shots: Snap the iconic arched corridors bathed in sunlight, the kaleidoscope of lanterns, and spice displays bursting with color—sunset lights make every photo pop! The central square lined with cafés is unbeatable for vibrant street shots. 🕘 Practical Tips: Open year-round, with shopping hours split (07:00-12:30, 15:00-22:00 Mon-Thu/Sat-Sun, and 12:30-22:00 Fri). Arrive early for relaxed browsing, and remember most shops close for afternoon siesta. Haggling is part of the fun—don’t be shy! Wear cool, modest clothing, and stay hydrated during warmer months. ⚠️ Key Precautions: Friday afternoons get packed—watch your bags and valuables. Some alleys get maze-like, so mark your meeting point if you’re with friends. Cash is king at many smaller vendors. #Doha #SouqWaqif #ShoppingSpree #TravelTips #Qatar
