My budget Maldives dream trip! 🌴

I spent five unforgettable days on Gulhi Island at Ilaa Beach Maldives, and it turned out to be one of the best budget trips I could ever imagine! 🌊 After landing in Malé, I took a speedboat to Gulhi — about 25–30 minutes, costing around 25 USD one way. The hotel was 60 USD per night, without breakfast. Gulhi is home to local residents, which gives it a unique, authentic atmosphere. Swimming is allowed only at the bikini beach, just 5 minutes’ walk from the hotel. 🏖️ Every evening, I enjoyed freshly grilled seafood — fish, prawns, and the tastiest local dishes right by the water.
