Still one of the few favorite coffee shops in Depok 2 Tengah, my preferred coffee, long black and Japanese iced coffee, has never once disappointed my taste buds. rumahsepertigasibuk has also never failed to entertain me with conversations with the barista and the manager. Not to mention the antics of the adorable Abu, who loves to wander, jump, and scratch the sofa—evidence can be seen in this Reel. For breaking fast or anytime you need food, Rumah Sepertiga Sibuk offers a variety of delicious fried rice: spiced fried rice, nasi sibuk or black rice, and orange rice. They also have healthy food options like salads. For snacks, their specialty is a package of traditional cakes—so don't look for cheesecake or croissants here. As usual, I ordered seblak—short for iced (long) black according to @zandithoo—and of course, fried rice, this time the fragrant orange rice with a side of omelet and rendang. They also serve a dish rarely found in cafes, a vegetable salad with pieces of chicken breast and eggs, plus a coffee mocktail called kopi ayah bintang, flavored with starfruit. For breaking fast recently, this was truly satisfying, with a bit of healthy intake through the salad. Normally open at 12 PM, during the fasting month it opens at 4 PM. Rumah Sepertiga Sibuk’s day off is different from others, on Friday.
