Exploring Apo island

Apo Island is a 40-minute boat voyage from Zamboanga, Philippines, off the southeastern coast of Negros. A 30-minute motorized boat journey from the community of Malatapay, Zamboanga to Negros Oriental, will take you there. Because of the island's incredible marine life, Apo Island snorkeling and diving is the most popular activity. Apo is the epicenter of marine biodiversity, with colorful soft coral beds in the shallows and massive gorgonian sea fans.
